………………………………….The Blind Boys of Alabama………………………………….

This Grammy Award winning gospel group has been performing for nearly six decades and is as engaging and spirit-filled now as in 1939 when the group formed at the Talladega Institute for the Deaf and Blind in Alabama. Taking pride in their ability to fuse contemporary and traditional sounds, the Blind Boys have collaborated with a number of musicians representing an array of ages and genres. They are one of several groups featured in Soundtrack for a Revolution, a documentary about the music of the Civil Rights Movement.

Expect an electrifying show as they perform
